Top 5 Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on Android in Russia, Q3 2023

The third quarter of 2023 witnessed notable performance trends among the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on the Android platform in Russia. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Yandex Go: Taxi Food Delivery saw a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting strong with around 209K downloads in late June and gradually declining to approximately 150K by the end of September. Active users also displayed minor fluctuations, peaking at around 3.99M in late August before settling at approximately 3.66M by the end of the quarter.

Uber Russia — order taxis experienced a consistent decline in weekly downloads, beginning with roughly 63K in late June and dropping to about 39K by the end of September. Active users also decreased, from about 777K in late June to approximately 652K by the end of the quarter.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus displayed a downward trend in weekly downloads, from around 48K in late June to about 32K by the end of September. The app’s active users followed a similar pattern, decreasing from approximately 280K in late June to around 217K by the end of the quarter.

inDrive. Save on city rides saw its weekly downloads decrease from about 33K in late June to around 17K by the end of September. Active users also dropped significantly, from approximately 475K in late June to around 101K by the end of the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a steady trend in weekly downloads, fluctuating between 9K and 18K throughout the quarter. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at around 450K in late June and ending at approximately 423K by the end of September.
